Amendment No. 4

to the Notice of Race of the Baltic Sprint Cup 2008

In view of the difficulties experienced by some yachts finalising their ratings it has been agreed to extend the closing date for rating changes to Friday 11th July 2008

 
Notice of Race 9.4
change to read:-

“Ratings  A yacht shall deliver her rating certificate or a copy to the Race Committee not later than 11th July 2008 and her rating shall not thereafter be changed unless there are exceptional circumstances and with the permission of the Race Committee or International Jury.”

Amendment No. 3
Add to Notice of Race 9.4:

Ratings  A yacht shall deliver her rating certificate or a copy to the Race Committee not later than 30th June 2008 and her rating shall not thereafter be changed unless there are exceptional circumstances and with the permission of the Race Committee or International Jury.

 
Amend Notice of Race 16.2 and 16.3 to read:

16.2  The rules of IRC Parts 1, 2 and 3. For the purpose of IRC Rules 26.1.5 (d) and (e) this regatta is on consecutive days and the sails carried shall remain the same. However in exceptional circumstances the International Jury may permit a replacement sail to be used. (Changes IRC 26.1.5 (d) and (e)). See www.rorcrating.com  

16.3  The rules of ORC “Club”. See the scale of permitted sails in ORC 206.1.  During the regatta the sails carried shall remain the same. A spare mainsail may be on board but may not be used as a racing replacement. However in exceptional circumstances the International Jury may permit a replacement sail to be used. Amendment No. 2
Insert new paragraph:

16.6 Sail Numbers.  Provided that in the opinion of the Race Committee a sail number will not be confused with any other, it may be permitted.  This changes Offshore Special Regulation 4.01 and RRS Appendix G.”

Amendment no. 1
Notice of Race  § 9.3  add:

"To secure a place on the application list the basic entry fee must be paid by 25th February on which date all unpaid applications will be transferred to a waiting list.  Yachts are requested to complete other entry requirements (eg supply of rating certificate copy) as soon as possible."
